Registered with CQC (Care Quality Commission) for male and female clients aged 17-64yrs, Western Counselling is an active member of EATA (European Association for the Treatment of Addiction) and we are working towards accreditation with them, in addition to being externally audited and found to be compliant with QuADS (Quality in Alcohol and Drugs Services) and IiP (Investors in People) accredited.
We are the first service to have been fully accredited by North Somerset's Addiction Treatment Accreditation Scheme developed and inspected by the Community Safety Drug Action Team.
This is the first accreditation scheme of its kind in the country and recognises the quality of service provided, the relevance of the treatment programme and its outcomes.
It monitors all aspects of practice including referral processes, assessments for treatment, risk assessment and management, care planning, healthcare systems, and outcomes for the individuals accessing the programmes.
