Outpatient Counselling Appointments

Anyone with addiction issues can have out-patient counselling with Western Counselling, whether it be because you personally have issues of drug, alcohol, gambling or food and need assistance to review your behaviours and gain abstinence or whether you are living with addiction in the home. You son/daughter/spouse/partner/father/mother is actively addictive and you are experiencing the fall out of their behaviours.

We will aim to assist you to prioritise your issues and help find appropriate methods of addressing your and their behaviours. For those actively in addiction the programme of counseling will be abstinent based and it is important you are willing to work towards a programme of abstinence. Additional support is available locally through ARA, Crossroads Carers Centre, Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous and Alanon.

The sessions are 1 hour in duration and you will be assigned a focal Counsellor whom you will see weekly. You will be asked to commit to a programme of twelve sessions. Assessment/first session is free of charge, thereafter you will be charged £50 per session, payable in advance or at each appointment.
